Chapter members do not register for the chapter. As explained in Chapter Management Roles, a user’s constituent record must be in a query from Blackbaud CRM that is contained in a Blackbaud Internet Solutions role. When creating the Chapter Manager part, the role must be selected as either the Content Manager, Data Manager, or Member role. These steps must be performed by your organization for a user to access the chapter site. Therefore, Blackbaud Internet Solutions data does not pass additional data to Blackbaud CRM for processing.
The only exception occurs when a data manager updates a member’s profile. When this happens, a profile transaction downloads the updated profile information to Blackbaud CRM. For more information, refer to the Web Transactions Guide.
