For information about how to create or edit a part, as well as the tabs on the Edit Part screen, see Create and Edit Parts.
1. | From the Design tab, under Build your part, select Pick your programs. |
2. | Select which membership programs to include in the part. The order of the programs in the list is the order they will appear in on your website. You can click and drag the programs in the membership part to change their order. |
For each program you select to include, a new configuration option appears under Build your part.
3. | Under Payment setup, select the Payment page to use. The Payment part on the selected page determines the merchant account used to process memberships. Memberships can only be purchased online using a credit card. For information about the Payment part, see Payment 2.0. |
You also can design an acknowledgement message. On the Payment 2.0 part, you can use the Combined Acknowledgements merge field to include this message on the confirmation screen and acknowledgement email that users receive after they check out.
4. | Under Build your part, select each program to configure it. When you configure each program, you can select which levels and terms, if applicable, of the membership program will be available on your website. You can modify the display names and descriptions, if needed. |
5. | You can also select which payment options will be available for the membership program on your website. At least one payment option must be selected. If there is only one payment option defined, it is selected by default and cannot be changed. |
Note: Annual dues-based programs purchased on your website must be paid in full. Lifetime dues-based programs purchased on your website can be paid in full or can use installment plans. Other types of programs are not available to use on your website.
6. | Click Save. You return to Parts. |
Note: In order to download membership transactions from non-logged in users on your website, you must use a membership dues batch in CRM that does not have the Bill to field marked as required.
