Snowflake for Dates

Some BBDW dimensions share a Snowflake structure for dates:

• Appeal

• Campaign

• Designation

• Event

• Marketing Segment

• Revenue Schedule.

Views added in Blackbaud Data Warehouse versions above 2.91 abstract these date keys into the fact tables to remove the snowflakes from the schema. So, there is a Snowflake pattern when considered from the table level. But when considered from Views, the star schema holds true.
