Use Design Mode to Explore a Page Spec

Pages tie a majority of the user interface specs together. The best way to get a behind-the-scenes look is to put the Infinity shell into Design Mode.

To access Design Mode, select Tools\Design Mode from the shell's main menu.

To access Design Mode, click the toggle button at the top right of the program.

Note: Design Mode is only available in the Web Shell user interface in Blackbaud CRM version 3.0 and later, and the toggle button only appears for administrators. To hide the button, see Hide or Display Design Mode Button.

In Design Mode, you can view the XML that makes up the page and the XML for data forms, data lists, and other objects referenced by the page. Right-click actions to reveal a View XML popup menu item and select them to view their XML.
