What is AppFabric?

Infinity Workflow is built upon Windows Workflow which is built upon Windows Server AppFabric which is a set of application services focused on improving the performance and management and web and composite applications. AppFabic runs and manages Infinity Workflow services which are built using Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). Windows Server AppFabric provides the plumbing for caching, SOAP and RESTful service management, workflow hosting and management, and monitoring.
