Workflow Instances

Each execution of a workflow represents a single instance of the workflow algorithm and the associated state and related information that go with that execution instance. Note the workflow instance record type is separate from the workflow catalog spec type – there can be many workflow instances for any given workflow catalog spec.

Clicking on the Go to workflow instance action button/link (see figure above) takes us to the main record page (see figure below) that displays information about the workflow instance such as when it started and its current status.
