Add a member to a constituent group

1. Open the record of the constituent group with the member to add. For information about how to open a constituent record, see Constituent Search.
2. On the Members tab, click Add. The Add a group member screen appears.
3. In the Member field, search for and select the constituent to add as a group member. For information about the search screen, see Constituent Search. You can also select Member selection to add multiple constituents to the group at one time.

Note: If someone in a selection is already an active member of the group, nothing changes with the group member. If someone in a selection is a previous or inactive member of the group, the constituent becomes an active group member again and start date for the constituent's group membership is reset.

4. Enter a start date for the group member.

When a constituent is no longer a member of the group, you can remove the constituent and enter an end date.

5. Enter any comments about the group member.
6. Click Save. You return to the Members tab.
