Add Deposits

You can create deposits to record the amount of cash, credit card, check, or other payments you receive and deposit into your bank account. Once you create an unlocked deposit, you can add an unlimited number of payments to the deposit.

When you create a deposit record, you enter information on the Add a deposit screen. For detailed information about each field on this screen, see Add a deposit. You can enter defaults for a payment date, method, and amount associated with the deposit on the Payment Defaults tab of a deposit page. You can add deposits from the Treasury page, or directly from an open bank account. When you add a deposit from the Treasury page, you must select a bank account to associate with the deposit. If you add a deposit directly from an open bank account, the deposit is associated with that bank account automatically.
