This table explains the nodes and fields most commonly used for a sales order query and the types of information they provide.

 

Node Name

Description

Sales Orders

This is the top node in a sales order query and contains information about the actual order itself. Contains information found on the overall constituent record and on the Personal Info tab, such as the amount of the overall order, sales method, refund status, etc.

Commonly Used Fields

  • Amount

  • Comments

  • Email or Zip Code

  • Lookup ID (order number preceded by "8-")

  • Transaction Date (date only) or Order Complete Date (date and time)

  • Receipt Option

  • Refund Status and Refund Status Text

  • Sales Method Type

  • Sales Order Status

  • Tax Exempt Information

Address

Pulls the information about the address associated with a sales order. For example, the address the patron entered during their online transaction, even if it's not their primary address.

Commonly Used Fields

  • Address/Address

  • Address/City

  • Address/State or Address/State Abbreviation

  • Address/Zip

  • Address/Primary Address (would be a Yes or No field to indicate if this address is primary or not)

Application User

 

Pulls details about the application user that processed the order in Altru. For example, use this when you need to see the name of the user that processed the order.

Commonly Used Fields

  • Application User/Display Name

Constituent

Pulls details about the constituent who is listed as the patron on the order. You can also expand this node to drill down further into details about that constituent.

  • Constituent/Lookup ID

  • Constituent/Name

  • Constituent/First Name

  • Constituent/Last/Organization/Group/Household Name (Last Name)

  • Constituent/Title

  • Constituent/Member/Membership/Status (Membership Status)

  • Constituent/Member/Membership/Level (Membership Level)

Email Address

Pulls the information about the email address associated with the sales order. For example, the email address the patron entered during their online transaction, even if it's not their primary email.

Commonly Used Fields

  • Email address/Email address

  • Email address/Email address type

  • Email address/Primary email address (would be a Yes or No field to indicate if this email address is primary or not)

Notes

Pulls details about any notes that were added to the Documentation tab of the order or added via the Comments field on an online donation form.

Phone

Pulls the information about the phone number associated with the sales order. For example, the phone number a patron entered during their online transaction, even it's not their primary phone number.

  • Phone/Primary phone number (would be a Yes or No field to indicate if this phone number is primary or not)

Refunds

Pulls information about refunds made from a sales order, such as the refund method or which items were part of the refund.

Note: Use this field when pulling refund details about an entire order.

Reservation

Pulls information about a group sales reservation.

Note: Includes the same nodes as a reservation query.

Commonly Used Fields

  • Reservation/Arrival Date

  • Reservation/Arrival time

  • Reservation/Name

  • Reservation/Important Notes

Sales Order Item

Pulls information about what was purchased on a sales order.

Note: This is the most frequently used node when building a sales order query and you will often expand and drill further to find more details about specific items on the order.

  • Sales Order Item/Description

  • Sales Order Item/Net Amount

  • Sales Order Item/Quantity

  • Sales Order Item/Type (Type indicates if the item was a Ticket, Merchandise Item, Tax, Discount)

Sales Order Payment

Pulls information about a payment or payments accepted for an order. For example, use this node to find which payment method was used for an order or whether the payment is in an open drawer.

Commonly Used Fields

  • Sales Order Payment/Amount

  • Sales Order Payment/Revenue/Payment Method

  • Sales Order Payment/Revenue/Card Number

  • Sales Order Payment/Drawer Close/Status (The status of the drawer — Open, Submitted, Approved or Deposited] — for the payment)
