Add Solicit Codes in a Batch
Through a constituent batch, you can add solicit codes to constituent records. From the Solicit codes screen of a constituent batch, you can select a solicit code, start and end dates, and enter any relevant comments. You can also manage solicit codes on the Preferences tab of the constituent’s Communications page. Solicit codes provide a convenient method to flag constituents as "exceptions to the rule" for your communications. These codes tell your organization when a constituent has certain rules to follow when you communicate. You can use these rules to exclude a constituent from a mailing process. Examples of solicit codes are "One solicitation annually," "Spring mailing only," "Do not email," and "Do not phone on weekends." To create solicit codes, from the Marketing and Communications page, select Solicit codes .
