Mark a Designation as Active or Inactive
As an alternative to deleting a designation, you may want to make it inactive. Inactive designations remain in your database, but are not available to associate with any future revenue records.
Alternatively, once you mark a designation as inactive, you can reactivate it at a later time. Once activated, the designation can be associated with revenue.
Tip: To search for an inactive designation, you must select Include inactive on the designation search screen for the designation to appear in the search results.
You can mark a designation active or inactive in several ways.
-
From the Hierarchy tab of a designation record, click Mark active or Mark inactive under Tasks.
