Set Capacity Constraints and Resource Requirements

Capacity constraints let you set the maximum number of people per day for all group sales. You set the maximum at 500. When you create group sale reservations, you then see how much capacity is available for each day. To set the capacity, on the Capacity Constraints tab, select Edit. Enter the maximum number of people and select Save.

Note: Capacity constraints only limit the number of attendees for groups who have reservations for a day. They don't limit the number of advance or walk-up sales.

Resource requirements let you specify what supplies, equipment, and staff resources you need for each group type. For example, you require specific resources for whenever an elementary school visits. You set up the group types on the Group Type code table in Administration. We recommend you set up as many distinct group types as you need. For example, if you often host school visits, set up multiple group types for the different grade ranges if you have different requirements for elementary, middle, and high school groups.
