Event Registration Forms
From Web, Manage event registration forms, you can create and manage web forms to allow supporters to register for special events and pre-registered program events. These forms can complement your organization’s existing website. For example, you can link to event registration forms from your website, then remove them after the event ends.
Note: To sell tickets to program events that don't require registration, use program forms instead.
Under Events, your special events and pre-registered program events appear. To create or manage web forms for an event, select it from the list.
-
To open an event record, select its name.
-
To edit an event’s properties, select Edit, Event.
-
To edit the description for an event's web form, select it and select Edit, Description. By default, program events inherit descriptions from programs.
-
To create a web form for an event, select Approve for website. If the event is active, Altru creates a live event registration form and unique URL. Registrants can access this URL to sign up and pay for the event.
Tip: If a form doesn't display as Live on website, check the event’s status to confirm that it is active.
-
To remove an event registration form, select Exclude from website. The event still exists in Altru but its web form is no longer active. If registrants attempt to access its URL, Altru redirects them to the home page that you entered under Web, configuration settings.
-
To configure options for the event registration form, such as the price types to display and how many attendees website users can register, select Options. For more information, see Event Registration Form Options.
