Create a New Request for a Backup for Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT

Your organization can request one backup per month. To create a new request, you must be an organization administrator or have the Backup requests – Backup Administrators permissions role.

Your organization can request one backup per month.

1. From the On-demand backups tile, select Request backup.

2. Select Create backup .

3. Review the Tenant ID of the database.

   Tip: The Tenant ID displays under Details on the Database view options page.

4. Select whether to

   • Use latest backup

   • Specify point in time. Then choose a date and time from the previous seven days. Consider this option if you recently processed a large change and need to undo it. Choose a time before the change occurred.

5. Select Submit.

6. Processing time varies based on the size of the database. You'll receive an email notification when it's ready. Use the link in the email to access your backup data. It expires after seven days. See Download Backup Information for Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT.
