MobilePay Terminal now supports Tap to Pay on Android! Now you can use your Android device as a reader to securely accept contactless card and wallet payments — no extra terminals or hardware are needed.

To use Tap to Pay in MobilePay Terminal, you need:

  • The latest version of MobilePay Terminal

  • A Blackbaud Merchant Services account that processes in U.S. dollars

  • A compatible device:

    • iPhone: iPhone XS or later

    • Android: An Android device that has a wireless or data connection and Near Field Communication enabled

To help prevent duplicate refunds for direct debit transactions, you now see clearer guidance during the refund process.

The updated warning highlights when a refund may already be issued through another process and prompts you to confirm before proceeding, helping you protect revenue and avoid over-refunding.
