Security Overview
To enable people at your organization to use features in the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal and help secure sensitive information, admins can invite users and set security rights. Security groups or roles secure a user's access to features and data.
Manage users
A user has access to certain features and tasks for a Blackbaud solution. A user can also sign in to Blackbaud's website with their Blackbaud ID to view their profile and other resources, such as Blackbaud University. For more information, see Users.
Secure access to features
To limit the features users can access, admins can set up rights based on role. From Control panel, Security, use Roles to manage which features each user's roles can access. For more information, see Role-based Security.
