Register Payment Terminals

Blackbaud's Payment Terminal solution lets you use EMV-certified card readers to take in-person payments using chip cards and contactless methods. After you order and receive your payment terminal, you need to register it through the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal.

Note: You only need to register payment terminals used with Blackbaud Altru and the SKY Payments API. You don't need to register terminals for MobilePay Terminal.

Register a terminal

1. From Terminal devices, select Register terminals.

   Tip: Don't see this option? Contact your system admin for rights to manage orders and devices.

2. Select Register a terminal.

3. Select your terminal, then follow the prompts to complete registration.

After you register your terminal, complete BBPOS WisePOS E setup steps.

Note: To use the terminal in Blackbaud Altru, you also need to configure your workstation. For more information, see Edit a Workstation's Payment Terminal Settings.
