Contact Details

From the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal, you can update different pieces of information related to your merchant account:

  • Contact details — The address, phone, email, and website Blackbaud uses to communicate about your account, transactions, or disbursements.

  • Statement descriptor — The name, email, and phone number that appear on supporters’ credit card and bank statements to identify your organization.

Edit contact details and statement descriptor

  1. From Settings, under Contact details, select Edit contact details.

  2. Update your contact details as needed.

    Note: If your address or disbursement account is in the United States, under TIN, your organization's Tax Identification Number (TIN) displays and can't be edited. Blackbaud Merchant Services uses the TIN to report disbursement information to the Internal Revenue Service.

  3. Update your statement descriptor as needed. For phone number and email address, enter details that supporters can use for transaction-specific inquiries.

    Note: The name you provide must be similar to your organization name, legal entity name, or URL.

  4. Select Save.
