Transaction Status
On a transaction record, Status displays the processing result for the transaction.
Gateway processing
Blackbaud Merchant Services is currently processing the transaction.
Note: If you submit a transaction batch, this result appears for its transactions until Blackbaud Merchant Services completely processes all transactions in the batch. Depending on the size of the batch, it may take some time to process.
Gateway decline
Blackbaud Merchant Services declined the transaction, such as due to insufficient funds, incomplete information, or a processing error.
Approved
Blackbaud Merchant Services successfully processed the transaction.
Pending
For a direct debit transaction, Blackbaud Merchant Services is currently awaiting authorization from the bank. Typically, this is the next business day after the transaction.
Validation error
There was an error at the validation stage so the transaction was not completed.
Processing error
There was an error at the processing stage so the transaction was not completed.
Not processed error
The transaction was not processed for another reason.
