Blackbaud Payment Service–Supported Currencies

The following lists detail which currencies the Blackbaud Payment Service supports for the disbursement of funds. If your organization has a bank account that uses one of these currencies, you can accept payments in Blackbaud solutions.

Note: Support varies by Blackbaud solution. For example, Blackbaud Altru only supports bank accounts that process in US Dollars. For more information, refer to your solution's Product documentation.

Tip: Supporters are not limited to paying in these currencies — the Blackbaud Payment Service can accept payments from cardholders in over 135 currencies. For example, if your form is configured to process in U.S. dollars, a donor can pay in another currency and will see the current exchange rate on their bank statement.

Blackbaud Merchant Services is Blackbaud’s end-to-end payment processing solution that acts as both a payment gateway and processor. To receive disbursement of funds in the following currencies, use Blackbaud Merchant Services:

  • Australian Dollar

  • Canadian Dollar

  • Euro

  • New Zealand Dollar

  • Pound Sterling

  • U.S. Dollar

To receive disbursement of funds in a currency not supported by Blackbaud Merchant Services, use a third-party payment gateway such as Cybersource. The Blackbaud Payment Service supports third-party payment gateways for accounts in the following currencies:

  • Danish Krone

  • Egyptian Pound

  • Hong Kong Dollar

  • Icelandic Krona
