Add Mapping for Benefits

In order to generate GL distributions for benefits paid from the development office, you can map the transactions to GL accounts or account codes.

Here are a few examples of possible account and account code mappings for benefits:

Transaction Type	Debit #	Credit #
Payment	01-1001-00	01-4001-00
Pledge - committed	5000	01-1200-00
Pledge - fully paid	1002	4002

When you specify account code, other segments are derived from selected characteristics of the transaction. For more information about how to define segment mappings, see Define Segment Mappings.
