Solicit Codes
Solicit codes provide a convenient method to flag constituents as “exceptions to the rule” for your communications. These codes tell your organization when a constituent has certain rules to follow when you communicate. You can use these rules to exclude a constituent from a mailing process. Examples of solicit codes are “One solicitation annually”, “Spring mailing only”, “Do not email”, and “Do not phone on weekends”.
On the Preferences tab of the constituent’s Communications page, you can manage the constituent’s solicit codes from the Solicit codes grid. In the grid, you can view the solicit codes assigned to the constituent. For each solicit code, you can view its duration and any comments entered.
