Donor Status

In addition to donor constituencies such as Loyal donor and Major donor, the program automatically applies a status to constituents based on giving history to help further define your donors. You can use these statuses to create selections of constituents with similar giving activity, such as for a communication.

Donor status	Description
Downgraded donor	Donors whose sum amount of payment transactions for the last 12 months is less than the sum amount of payment transactions for the previous 12 months.
First time donor	Donors who have made only one payment to your organization.
Recurring donor	Donors who have an active recurring gift transaction with your organization.
Same donor	Donors whose sum amount of payment transactions for the last 12 months equals the sum amount of payment transactions for the previous 12 months.
Upgraded donor	Donors whose sum amount of payment transactions for the last 12 months exceeds the sum amount of payment transactions for the previous 12 months.
