You can apply a payment to multiple applications. For example, a constituent may send a check to both pay for an event registration and donate a gift to your organization. To view information about the applications of a revenue transaction, select the Information tab. On this tab, you can view the applications associated with the transaction and the amount of the revenue applied to each. If the total of the application amounts exceeds the total amount of the transaction, the Balance (gift amount) application amount displays the difference in red.
