Original Funding

You can identify the original donations to a fundraising purpose. These donations are the corpus or principal of the purpose. Your organization invests these funds to generate long-term revenue for the purpose. From the Donor Information tab of a fundraising purpose, select the double arrows next to a donor’s contribution in the grid. From the action bar that appears, select Mark as original funding. A checkmark appears in the Corpus column.

Note: Select the plus sign to the left of a donor entry to view the donor’s contributions to the fundraising purpose.
