Specify Benefits for a Payment in a Revenue Batch

Benefits are gifts your organization gives to constituents in response to a donation. For example, when a constituent donates a gift, you may send them a free shirt or newsletter as thanks for the payment. Though the donation is not considered payment for the benefits a constituent receives, the benefits value could account for a difference between an initial gift amount and how much of that gift actually counts, such as for tax purposes. When you add a payment to the batch, you can specify its associated benefits.
