Edit Payment Information
You can edit payment information for a pledge. For example, if a constituent did not select to process payments automatically for a pledge, but later decides to do so, you can configure the automatic payment. You can also edit this information to change automatic payment information after it is entered.
When you edit the payment method information for a direct debit transaction, you can add and manage information about the instruction records associated with the transaction. To process direct debit transactions, your organization must send instruction records to notify Banks Automated Clearing System (BACS) of a constituent’s intent to donate to your organization or to cancel a direct debit instruction (DDI), such as to set up or cancel a DDI. Your organization can send instruction records on paper or electronically through paperless mandates.
