Complete pending transfer manually

When you transfer a child to a new sponsor, the new sponsorship status is pending until you complete the process. This procedure explains the manual completion process.

  1. Open either the old sponsorship or new sponsorship record. For more information about how to locate a sponsorship record, refer toSearch for an existing sponsorship.

  2. Select Complete transfer. A prompt displays to confirm the transfer.

  3. Select Yes. The transfer completes and returns you to the Sponsorship record.
