Preview the results

1. To browse the query results, select the Preview results tab.

   This preview tab shows the first 500 rows of the query results so you can quickly browse the records and ensure they are correct. The rest of the data will be visible when you run the finalized query or export the results.

   • To view the query ID for each record, select Show ID column. The QUERYRECID column appears.

   • To view the Structured Query Language (SQL) command used to generate the query, select View SQL. The SQL command appears so you can review or copy and paste into another application as necessary.

2. Adjust your settings on the other tabs as necessary.

   Otherwise, select the Set save options tab and specify the properties of the query. For information about the items on this tab, refer to Set query properties.
