1. | On a student record, select the Notes tab. |
Tip: From the Home page, to quickly add a new note, under Other tasks, click Add a new student note.
2. | In the Notes grid, click New. |
3. | Select the type of student note and enter a note title. The date and author default. Select a new date and author if needed. |
4. | Enter a description for the note. |
5. | In the Notes box, enter the student note. To prevent format errors on report cards, do not copy and paste comments with special characters. For example, do not paste content with tables, superscript, bulleted lists, or numbered lists. |
6. | To print the comment on the transcript and report card, select the checkboxes. |
7. | Click Save to save the note but remain on the note screen. |
8. | Click Save and Close to save the note and return to the student record. |
