Default starting pages

Platform managers can decide which page users land on upon login. This is set by persona, but the platform manager can also enable individual constituents to select their own start page.

To choose a default landing page:

1. Select Core.

2. Select Users.

3. Select User profile settings.

4. Select Starting page.

5. For each persona, select Edit.

6. Select a default starting page for each persona.

   Alum

   • News - Featured,

   • News - Recent Activity,

   • or Resource Board

   Faculty

   • News - Featured

   • News - Recent Activity

   • Resource Board

   • My Day: Schedule,

   • My Day: Performance,

   • or My Day: Assignment Center

   Friend

   • News - Featured,

   • News - Recent Activity,

   • or Resource Board

   Parent

   • News - Featured,

   • News - Recent Activity,

   • or Resource Board

   Student

   • News - Featured,

   • News - Recent Activity,

   • Resource Board,

   • My Day: Schedule,

   • My Day: Progress,

   • or My Day: Assignment Center

7. Select Save.

8. Select Yes or No for whether you want to Let user define their own start page. 

   If Yes, users should go to their Login settings to configure their starting page and persona (if they have more than one). See Login settings and historyfor instructions.
