Attachments
As a Billing clerk, you can attach files to the billing profiles of students and payers that are, in turn, available to other Billing clerks viewing the billing profile. Once attached, you can add, edit, delete, and view attachments on the billing profile.
To get started with attachments, navigate to the billing profile of a student or payer; in Blackbaud Billing management, open the People finder on the navigation and search for a student or payer and open their billing profile. Once open, locate the Attachments section.

Under Attachments, select Add.

Either drag or browse to a file, or enter a URL that directly links to a file (e.g., www.myschool.org/linkToFile/record.pdf).
Note: Files must be under 500kb in size to ensure successful upload.

Provide an Attachment name and Date.
Tip: Consider adding a file extension to the Attachment name (image.png) to make it easier to identify the file type.

Select Save.
It may take several moments after refreshing the page before an attachment can be interacted with after successfully being uploaded.
View an attachment by clicking on its name under Attachments. The attachment will open in a new tab. Some file types, such as images or PDFs, may open in the browser, while others may be downloaded to your device.

Change the name and description of an attachment by clicking on the context menu and selecting Edit.

Remove an attachment from a Billing profile by clicking on the context menu and selecting Delete. You will be asked to confirm your action before deleting the attachment.
