Review payment plan record
Payment plan records offer a comprehensive view of charges owed across an installment period, and the application of all payments or credits toward charges.
Billing clerks can additionally add or remove charges from a payment plan.
To get started, use the People Finder to open a student billing profile, and under Payment plans, select the payment plan for the appropriate billing year.
Add charges to Payment plans
Payment plans can have charges added to the remaining installment periods. Billing clerks determine whether charges are equally dispersed amongst the remaining installment periods, or if certain installments have a different charge allocation amount.
To add charges to existing payment plans:

Under Included charges, select Add charges.

Select between the available charges listed.

Select Next.

Under Edit installment amounts, enter the Percentage of the charge paid per Installment. By default, the charge is equally dispersed amongst the upcoming installments.

Select Save and Close.
Edit payment plan installment dates
Future payment plan installment dates can be changed to another date, as long is that date is prior to the installment due date that follows it. For example, if Payment 2 is due on October 1, and Payment 3 is due on November 1, then Payment 2 can be rescheduled to any day before, and not including, November 1.
To edit a payment plan installment date:

Select the context menu (
) for a future payment plan installment date.

Choose Edit due date.

Use the calendar picker or enter a date in the MM/DD/YYYY format.

Select Save.
The changes are reflected in the History section for the payment plan and the Activity section for the Auto-Pay record, if Auto-Pay has been associated with the payment plan.
Delete a payment plan
Delete payment plans as needed, noting that if the payer is enrolled in Auto-Pay, the Auto-Pay enrollment is terminated along with the payment plan.
Note: The payer is not automatically notified of this termination.
Deleting a payment plan enables Billing clerks to add a different plan for the school year in its place.
To delete a payment plan, select Delete payment plan at the top of the payment plan record.
