Get your 1098-T tax form

Your 1098-T reports the tuition you paid and the aid you received for a calendar year. You need it to claim education tax credits when you file.

To get started, log in, hover over Billing in the navigation, and select Tax forms.

Note: Only students see Tax forms. If a parent or another statement recipient pays your bill, they do not have access to this page.

When your form becomes available

Your school prepares and publishes 1098-T forms. A tax year appears on this page only after your school publishes it, so a recent year may not be there yet.

If the year you need is missing, contact your bursar's office.

What the boxes mean

The figures on your form are calculated from your account activity for that calendar year:

  • Payments received (Box 1): tuition and other qualifying payments you made.

  • Scholarships/grants (Box 5): financial aid awarded to you, plus any payments recorded as a scholarship or grant.

  • At Least Half Time (Box 8): Yes if your course load for the year met at least half-time enrollment.

  • Graduate (Box 9): Yes if you were working toward a graduate degree.

To see the payments behind Box 1, review your transaction history for that calendar year.

If an amount looks wrong

When your account changes after a form is published—for example, a payment posts on December 31 for a form published on December 30—your school issues a correction. The updated form replaces the old one on this page.

If a figure still does not match your records, contact your bursar's office before you file.
