Applications
Using the applications content type, admissions managers can create customized application forms. Then prospective families can submit their applications online.

After a candidate starts an application, an admissions manager can view it from the candidate’s Checklist.

An admissions manager can delete an application if the candidate hasn't started it, or has started it but hasn't submitted it.
To do so from the candidate’s Checklist, select X on the application row.

A platform manager or a user with rights to edit resource boards can customize the link which enables users to apply to your school.
-
From Core, then Content.
-
Choose Resource Boards and filter to show All boards.
-
Edit the Apply link.
-
Enter a title.
-
Enter descriptive text.
-
Select Change File. Then browse to and select an image from your local computer.
-
Choose the resource boards that should include the apply link.
-
Select Save.

When attempting to edit a locked form, a blue banner now appears at the top indicating that the form is in use and locked for editing. However, admissions managers can now select Edit Form on the left side which will open a warning screen that needs to be confirmed before the form can be edited. Keep in mind that only text-based fields can be edited (text blocks, field names etc).
Edits made after the form has been locked are also added to an audit log, which will keep track of changes made including the date of the change, the user who made the edits, which fields were changed and the previous and new values. The logs are accessible from View History under Edit Form.

Many independent and private K-12 schools accept the Standard Application Online (SAO) which is managed by the Secondary School Admission Test Board (SSATB). This application enables students and families to submit a single, online, application form to multiple participating schools. It reduces the need for families to enter duplicate information and makes it easier for families to quickly apply to multiple schools.
When an applicant applies to your school using SAO, the application is handled by the "Blackbaud's Education Management" products. Admissions managers process SAO applications in Enrollment Management using the same user interface and workflow process as standard Application forms. Likewise, users can print SAOs, just like they print other Enrollment Management application forms.
A platform manager can manage this integration from Core. See Standard Application Online.
Tip: Admissions managers can enable a candidate to resubmit an application before it is processed. Use this option when a family contacts you because they need to make changes or additions to the application. From the candidate’s Checklist, select Allow Resubmit. Previous signatures are removed. Candidates should then access their Checklist, find the Application step, and select Continue to edit the application and resubmit it with new signatures. After the application is processed, you can’t enable the resubmission option.
Tip: See content type.
