Re-Apply & Re-Activate Candidates
The admissions manager has the ability to Re-Apply or Re-Activate a candidate. These tasks most commonly take place when a candidate declines acceptance or drops out of the process, and then ultimately decides they want to attend. If this decision takes place in the same school year, the record would be re-activated. If the decision occurs in a future school year, the record must be re-applied.

From the persona menu, select Enrollment management then Admissions, followed by Admissions management.

Under Overview, select Reapply users to get started.

Select a Role from the drop down then make sure Re-Apply is selected. The window is then updated asking for search criteria:

Entering year.

Entering grade.
-
Status.
-
School decision.
-
First or Last Name.

Choose Next to display your results as well as Default user options. Selecting these options will apply the values to all users with no unique selections made in the Individual user options area.

Without using the Default user options, you can either individually or assign values in bulk. Check the users you want to change and then assign values to the following fields: Checklist, Admissions Staff, Entering Year & Entering Grade, then select Save & Exit.

From Admissions management, select Reapply users to get started.

Select the Role, then switch the toggle to Re-Activate. Please note that you'll need to use the Past candidate or Past student values for the Role to see this option. You an then filter based on:

Entering Year.
-
Entering Grade.
-
Status.
-
School Decision.
-
First or Last Name.
-

Select Next, then check box next to candidate’s name.

Choose Save & Exit.
Admissions managers can now give existing students the candidate and student roll at the same time through either Reapply users from Admissions, then Admissions management or via the resource board. With this enabled, existing students are allowed to proceed through the admissions process again as if they're new candidates.

With the Core settings in place, Select the Student Role from the drop down, then the Reapply option. Filter your potential results under User criteria with
Parents can then come in from the Resource Board to apply a new candidate or reapply a student. If reapply is selected, the student appears in a list and the following information will need to be selected.

Candidate Date of Birth

Candidate Entering Year

Candidate Entering Grade
Parents must then check that they are the Parent or Guardian of the child to proceed. They then select Begin to be automatically be taken to the application with as much information prefilled as possible.
Note: If there's more than 1 application, the parent will be presented with the choice as normal.
From a faculty perspective, the Student reapply flag will be shown under the record to help staff select the correct application. This also extends to various other places such as reporting, so a reapply individual won't show up twice considering their dual role.
