Although both a Rubric and Turnitin can be added to an Assignment, they should not be used together. This can cause some unintended consequences in both Blackbaud Student Information System and Turnitin.
This occurs for students that are trying to submit a late assignment. This may be caused by the assignment's Turnitin settings in Turnitin. The option for Allow Late Submissions must be enabled from the Turnitin settings for students in order for students to submit late assignments. In the class Assignments tab, find the assignment and select the title.
Select Settings then select Optional Settings.
Under Submission Settings, select Allow Late Submissions.
Select Submit to save these settings.
When an assignment is created, it is linked to a class in Turnitin. If you are getting this message when you attempt to view your student assignments, the class has most likely expired in Turnitin. The default end date for a class in Turnitin is six months. You can extend the end date for the class manually through Turnitin, or create a new Turnitin assignment for the course which will also extend the end date for the course.
