Assignment Settings

Assignment types are used to organize assignments. They are also useful for reporting purposes. For example, faculty can run reports to view both major and non-major assignments that are due for students in their roster. Additionally, faculty can use assignment types to determine the cumulative grade calculation in the gradebook. 

Assignment types are added by Academic Group Managers. They are set globally (not by department or course), so be sure to add assignment types that can be used by all faculty

To get started with Assignment Settings:

  1. From the persona menu, select Academics.

  2. Select Grades followed by Grading setup.

  3. Select Assignment settings.
