Monitoring Teams
Monitoring teams allow users to have approval/view access for Official Notes without having the Comment Manager role. For example, administrators at the school can be members of a monitoring team so that they can monitor Official Notes about a group of students without having the full responsibility of being a Comment Manager.

From the persona menu, select Academics.

Choose Communication and then select Official notes.

Select Official notes monitoring team.

Select Add.

(Optional): Enter a Sort Order. This determines the order in which teams appear on the Official notes monitoring team tab.

Enter a Description. This is the name of the new monitoring team you are creating.

Select whether team members should have the following:

Under Members, you will add members to the monitoring team. Use the filters and search bar to find the users, then select their names. To select multiple users, you can use the Ctrl+click and Shift+click functions. Select Add to Group >>.

Under Comment Types, you will select the types of Official Notes this team will be able to access. Use the School Level and Grade level selectors, then select the comment types you would like to include. You can use the Ctrl+click or Shift+click functions to select multiple comment types. Select Add Access.

Return to the top of the page and select Save & Exit.
