Course selection and Schedules Overview

The Course Selection Overview page allows you to view a master schedule, run reports, approve course requests, and edit student enrollments.

  1. Select Academics from the persona menu.

  2. Select Scheduling from the top menu, then Course selection and schedules.

Select a topic heading to learn more about the functions in that area of the Overview:

Use the Reports menu to run one of the following preset reports in a new browser window or tab:

  • Course Request Tally: A list of requests showing how many requests have been received, with a breakdown of requesters by gender and classification.

  • Course Enrollment: A list of course sections in a term, organized by department. Each section displays the name of the faculty member, room number, scheduling block, names of students, and number of students enrolled.

  • Course Enrollment by Gender: A list of course sections in a term, organized by department, showing the total enrollment and number of students in each section by gender.

  • Enrollment Summary: A list of students and the number of courses in which each is enrolled. For each student classification, this report also calculates the mean, median, and mode number of courses per student.

  • Course Parameters for Schedule Maker: A list of all active or inactive courses. Displays each course's length, scheduling priority, Offering ID, minimum enrollment, maximum enrollment, rooms available, and blocks available.

Select the appropriate options for the report, then select Generate Report to see a preview in the browser window. Select View/Print PDF or Export Data to Excel to download the report in your desired format.
