What’s New - August 12, 2025

Faculty members can now access our Back to School resources, which include navigation and getting started information. From the My Day: Schedule and Performance page in their Faculty persona, they can select Faculty resources under Related links, then Back to School.

We’ve introduced support for Auto-Pay for incidentals as part of our Early Adopter Program (EAP), allowing payers to automatically cover charges outside of standard payment plans. Once configured in the Settings section, payers can enroll in incidentals-focused Auto-Pay plans, and billing clerks can manage these enrollments from familiar locations like individual billing profiles and the Auto-pay List.

Here are the new features for payers and billing clerks as part of the update:

Payers

Payer Portal

• Payers can now enroll in Auto-Pay for incidentals via the Payer portal. They can manage their enrollment there by pausing and re-enrolling when necessary.

• Payers can view a breakdown of which charges are included in a scheduled payment along with details about the payment method used in the transaction.

Contracts

• Payers can enroll in Auto-Pay for incidentals as part of the contract signing process, either optionally or as required by the back office.

Billing clerks

Billing years

• A new Incidentals tab on the Auto-pay settings configuration page enables billing clerks to activate and configure plan specifications, such as due date, eligible payment methods, and convenience fees.

  

Billing profiles

• Enroll payers in Auto-pay for incidentals under the Auto-pay section on billing profiles using the Add Incidental Auto-Pay button, and manage existing enrollments on their behalf from the Incidentals tab.

  

Auto-pay list

• The Auto-pay list now features information and filters supporting Auto-pay for incidentals, notably through the Auto-pay plan type column, which distinguishes between Payment plan and Incidental driven Auto-Pay plans.

  

Notifications

• A new notification type titled, Upcoming incidental auto-pay payment reminder, is available to alert payers via SMS or email three business days prior to the due date.

When adding payments to a group, you can choose to save your current progress and return later to finalize the payments using the new Save draft button.

To resume, go back to the Add Payments window and select View Previous Run History at the top. On the new page, select the Drafts tab to view each saved draft. Use the context menu for a record to edit or delete it.

Payment plans now support editing plan dates in bulk to help you adjust plans based on developing family situations.

To get started with editing installment dates, open a payment plan record and select More and choose the new Edit plan dates button. Make any necessary changes to the Charged on and Due date fields for each installment in the modal that opens.

When you import data using a General user import type, the import now handles Preferred last name. Use the import to update names in bulk for users. When you import data, you’ll choose a layout type to match the new names to users by host ID or by user ID.

With this release, the visual overhauls for the Admissions Progress page in the Parent Portal and Candidate progress settings are now live for everyone. The Admissions Progress page is now mobile friendly as the candidate progress text box can be collapsed so that it doesn't take up space in the mobile view. The biggest change will be the banner at the top of the page, which is completely customizable from Admissions setup, then Candidate Progress Settings. The banner allows you to bring your branding to the portal, so there's increased continuity when the family switches from your website to the portal for the admissions process.

Please note that the functionality of the Parent page remains the same as the only change is the visual look and style. Within the Admissions Progress section, you can see the applied checklist, each step, and where you are in the process. Use Hide completed to only display steps that are still active.

From Candidate progress settings, you can edit the admissions portal welcome text or upload a full width banner image as well as a mobile specific version, if needed. The images can even be previewed before they’re published to ensure their look and feel prior to going live.
