Academics

Report Card and Transcript Year Access now include years prior to 2018.

Generate Student Schedule process will now exclude students that don't have a registration row for the year currently being run. This means that GSS will now check if a registration row exists for Incoming Students and Students, and if it does, then they'll be included.

In this update, we've renamed the Student import to Create Future Enrollment. In addition, we've added the ability to update existing Enrollment rows if one already exists for a student. If one does not exist, then a new enrollment row will be created.

We've moved the Scheduling Rules page out of Podium and given it a fresh visual overhaul with SKYUX. Schedule rules will display all currently created rules with details such as the Term it is associated with, Status, Use when enrolling, as well as Options including the Teacher, Block, and Room. Create a new rule by selecting +New, edit the settings, or use the context menu to Edit or Delete a specific rule.

Faculty can now review earlier submissions when a student retakes an assessment. From the evaluation page, use the dropdown next to Show only essay questions to select a prior submission. Previously, allowing a student to retake an assessment deleted their earlier submissions.

Faculty can enter grades and comments for the most recent submission only.

To receive email notifications when the What’s new update appears, make sure to subscribe to the Higher education community’s blog .

  1. Log into the community.

  2. Select Browse communities and choose the Blackbaud Education Management Solutions for Higher Education.

  3. Select Announcements.

  4. Select Follow and then select your notification preferences:

    • Include in email digest

    • Notify me of new content

  5. Find your avatar or profile image in the upper right corner. Select this account menu and then select Account & Privacy Settings.

  6. Select Notification Preferences and review your settings.

    Select Followed Content and review your settings.

From the user community you can also:

  • discuss best practices and network with your peers at other organizations,

  • suggest new Ideas to enhance your Blackbaud experience,

  • add your comments and votes to Ideas your peers suggest,

  • review the status of existing Ideas as product management plans roadmaps for future updates,

  • and more.
