Blackbaud ID: Sign in with Apple
Users who don't use a single sign on (SSO) can link their Blackbaud ID to their Apple ID. This is known as a "social sign in." Users and schools who already use iOS devices, such as MacBooks and iPads, should consider this option.

-
From the login screen, users select Sign in with Apple, instead of entering their email address as their username for Sign In.
-
When users link their Apple ID to their Blackbaud ID, Apple’s configuration appears.
-
When users sign in with their Apple ID, they must agree to their Apple's authentication. This may include multi-factor authentication (MFA), such as sending a verification code to a smart phone or other device.
-
Users must select Share my email to ensure they can log in to Education Management and to ensure they receive notifications.
-
If users hide their email, they may not be able to login and may miss critical notifications.
To fix it, disconnect the Apple ID and then sign in with an email address as the username instead. For instructions, see the FAQ for Blackbaud ID or view the how-to video on our YouTube channel for Disconnect Apple ID.
-
Users who login with Sign in with Apple ID) will not be prompted to use multi-factor authentication (MFA), even if the school enforces MFA for one of their roles.
