Communication

From Core, users manage your school's tools and processes to ensure effective communication with your school community:

  • create, send, and manage issues of Pushpages (Newsletters) , and their templates.

    You can also access these from School website, Communication.

  • manage Bounces which occur when an email address appears to be bad (recipient could not receive your message).

  • create, send, and manage Emergency bulletins, including weather related school closings and delays.

  • manage Sign in messages.

  • adjust Notifications.

  • analyze your school's communication data, such as to review contact information and more.

  • manage Official notes (in some capabilities).

Some communication features are accessible through other capabilities in addition to Core.

Blackbaud Communication Services (BBCS) sends all email generated by Blackbaud's Education Management solutions. A platform manager can review your school's site demographics to confirm which mailboxes are associated with your school's communication.

Tip: We strongly recommend your school add these email addresses to your allow list so staff and parents can receive emails correctly. Encourage members of your school community to also add these mailboxes to the allow lists on their personal devices. The allow list may also be known as a "safe sender" list.

  • Notifications and most all other emails are sent from yourschoolname@myschoolapp.com.

  • Pushpages (Newsletters) are sent from yourschoolname@myschoolemails.com.
