Enroll & Inactivate Candidates
After a candidate completes, an admissions manager enrolls them. When a child is enrolled, the user's role changes from Candidate to Incoming Student or Student.

From Enrollment management, head to Admissions, Admissions management, and then Overview.

Select Enroll/inactivate candidates.

Make sure Enroll is selected then use the options to filter candidates based on entering year, entering grade, and status. Select Next.
Note: Entering year, School decision, and Candidate decision are required fields.

A list will populate with matching candidates. Select candidates from the list to individually apply an enroll date or use the Enroll date and Checklist option at the top to apply to all selected Candidates.

Select Next to be taken to the Select transfer school page.

Select Include in Future Enrollment.

Select Next.

If applicable, select the Sending School.

Select Next.

Review the information and then select Save & Close.
Note: When a platform manager enrolls a past candidate for the same school year which the candidate applied and that candidate’s status is currently set to Inactive, the student’s candidate record status is then updated to be Enrolled (essentially active instead of Inactive).
When a candidate has not completed the admissions process, or the candidate has been denied admission, the next step is to Inactivate. Inactivating a candidate changes the role from Candidate to Past Candidate.
When a platform manager withdraws an enrolled candidate, the admissions profile status is automatically updated from Enrolled to Inactive. Admissions managers can also marked candidates as Inactive.

From Enroll/inactivate candidates select Inactivate.

Filter candidates based on Entering Year, Entering Grade, Status, School Decision, and Candidate Decision.

Select Next.

A list will populate with matching candidates. Select candidates from the list to individually inactivate or use the Inactivation reason for multiple selected candidates.

Review the information and then select Save and close or Cancel to revert any change. Previous will go back one screen. .
Note: Inactive Candidates can be reactivated for the same admissions year by going to Reapply Candidate from the Admissions management Overview screen. For a different admissions year, they would need to be re-applied instead. For more on this, please see our help documentation here.
Admissions managers can remove the candidate role from a parent, parent of candidate or faculty/staff if needed.

From Enrollment Management, select People Finder and set the search term for Candidate, Past Candidate, Incoming student.

Enter and search for the user.

Select Delete entering year from the user profile.

Enter in a reason for deleting the user's entering year. Once ready, select Delete this entering year to confirm the changes or Cancel to back out.
Once finished, the candidate role is now removed from the user.
