We hope you’re having a successful Contract Season so far and that our first part from this series came in handy. If you missed it, make sure to have a look here, as it offered some sage advice on setup and preparation including things to watch out for.
For now though, it’s time to turn the page and talk about what’s next. So, you followed our advice, perfected your set up, and things are running smoothly. What’s next? It’s time to talk about the importance of communication and data validation!
Let’s jump in, shall we?
Communication is Key
Naturally, at this point in the contract season process, it’s important to effectively communicate things like what families should know, what they should avoid, and any other gotchas that may trip them up as they move through the contract process.
In addition, make sure to not only set deadlines and communicate them to your families, but also make sure to set expectations for what happens if contracts are not returned on that date. Reach out to your responsible signers and let them know what they will be expected to complete and by when.
Again, Notifications or PushPages are a great way to keep the lines of communication open.
Validate Your Data!
If we didn’t stress it enough in part one of this contract series, data can be a stumbling block, especially information that is overlooked or incorrectly listed. Continue to verify your data and information. If any information or data has changed in the meantime, make sure they are reported so the incorrect our outdated information can be updated as soon as possible.
Certain fields should be prioritized for validation, especially ones that could have potentially changed after initial setup including:
-
Relationships
-
School Programs
-
Settings for any Integrations
That’s going to do it for this part of the Contract Season process. Fear not, there’s one more on the way, so keep a look out for that sometime in January. We hope these tips help continue to lead you towards a successful contract season, but of course, if you get stuck or run into a major issue, definitely reach out to our support team for assistance.
