Advisory Sections
Advisory sections are the actual advisories in which students are enrolled and to which advisers are assigned.
Before creating an advisory section, an Advisory Manager must first offer the advisory. Advisory sections are the actual advisories in which students are enrolled and to which advisors are assigned.
Users must have group page access to access sections.

From the persona menu, select Academics.

Select Scheduling then Requests and schedules.

Use the drop down to select Advisory. Use the filters to select the Term and School Level you want to work with. By default, it shows the current school year.

Select Advisory sections.

Select Add advisory section to create a new one within this list.

Select the Advisory you want to add sections to either by manually searching or selecting Show All to pull up a complete list of options.

Enter the number of sections to create.

Select Save and close to create the section(s). Alternatively, select Save and add another to repeat the process for another Advisory.

Once a section is added, use the context menu to further customize the Advisory section. Select Manage advisory section to change any details, the Meeting room and Block, and assign an advisory and/or advisees.

Select Save and close when you are finished, Save to stay on this page, or Cancel to go back. You may also use the Set Section Information task instead.
Once you've created advisory sections, you can assign Advisors to the sections. Then you'll enroll Advisees individually or Enroll Students in Bulk into Advisory.
