Feature Areas
Feature areas directly correlate to the feature areas that display in your navigation bar. For example, Blackbaud Education Management displays Connected Apps on the navigation bar.
For Blackbaud Merchant Services, feature areas exist for each of the following: the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal, Blackbaud MobilePay Terminal, and the Payments API.

Feature areas appear on the Roles page under Control panel. The areas that appear depend on the Blackbaud solution your church uses. You can't add, edit, or remove feature areas.
Note: If you use multiple Blackbaud solutions, expand a solution to view your feature areas.

When you use one Blackbaud solution, all feature areas appear when you add or edit a user. To provide access to a feature area, select its checkbox.

When you use multiple Blackbaud solutions, feature areas appear under their respective Blackbaud solution when you add or edit a user. To provide access to a feature area, select its checkbox. This enables access to that feature area, but not to other Blackbaud solutions and feature areas.
Tip: There is no limit to the number of areas a user can access.
