Citizenship and Resident Information
From the Citizenship/Resident section of the Contact Card you can record details related to ethnicity and citizenship.
Platform managers can edit these from Core , People finder , User profile. Students and Parents are not able to edit these fields, but they can view any field containing data. If the field does not have data, the field does not display.
Certain fields like Languages, Visa Status, and Visa Type will appear as empty lists until a Platform Manager adds values to Core , Settings , General settings, Table values. For more information, see Table Values.

Ethnicity
If your school uses the Ethnicity field, we recommend you educate your staff about how your use of the older Ethnicity field differs from your use of the newer Races field. Remember the Ethnicity field enables you to select a single value and thus may not fully describe multiracial individuals. For information about Races, including instructions to copy information from Ethnicity into Races in bulk, see Races.

-
Race
We recommend schools use Races instead of (or in addition to) Ethnicity . This enables schools to select multiple values for individuals for more accurate demographic information.
