Activity Sections

Activity sections are tied to a school year and term. Students and Activity Leaders are tied to the activity section. 

Users must have group page access to access sections.

Before creating an activity section, an activity manager must first offer the activity. Activity sections are the actual activities to which the students and activity leaders are attached.

Create an activity section:

  1. From Extracurricular, select Activities > Requests and schedules.

  2. Select Activity sections.

  3. Use the filters to select the Term you want to add the section in and select View.

  4. Select Create Section next to an activity.

  5. Enter the number of sections to create.

    Note: The maximum number of sections allowed at one time is nine.

  6. Select Add to create the section(s).

  7. Once a section is added, select Edit under the section to assign an activity leader, room, and block. Select Update Section Information when you are finished. You may also use the Set Section Information task instead.
