Faculty Course Recommendations & Requests
Schools can allow
Note: A signup period must be open in order for faculty to make course recommendations and requests.
To make recommendations:

From your class page, select Course recommendations.

The current Signup Period will display.

Enter the course name under New Recommendation on each student's line, or select the dropdown indicator and choose from the list.
Note: Only courses tied to the same department as the current course will appear.

Changes save automatically.
To manage course requests:

From your advisory page, select Course Requests.

The current Signup Period will display.

Edit Columns and apply Filters as needed.

To require courses for advisees in bulk:

Select Bulk require

Select the advisees or choose Select All

Expand the departments and choose the courses to require

Select Save and Close

To manage individual requests, select the Edit icon beside a student's name.

Review the student's existing requests and Approve or Deny courses if access has been granted.

Expand departments and choose to Request additional courses for the student.
Note: Select the down arrow to add the course as an alternate for another request.

Add a Note for requests or recommendations if needed.

Select Save when finished. Select Back to return to the Advisory page.
Note: Courses that have Requires Recommendation enabled are only visible to students after they have received a recommendation from a faculty member.
